Today, OnePlus is thrilled to announce a partnership with the legendary audio company, JBL. Pioneers in the audio space since 1946, JBL boasts a portfolio of some of the most indelible artists and arenas in the world. We are excited to welcome them to the OnePlus family with the arrival of the JBL E1+ Earphones, specifically crafted to enhance the powerful sound of the OnePlus One.

Founded around the mantra, ‘Never Settle’, OnePlus continuously seeks ways to better the experience of the One. Our JBL E1+ Earphones accomplish exactly that thanks to premium 9mm JBL drivers outfitted with PureBass technology for maximized sound. Dynamic, high frequency response and massive bass ensure sharp, full audio output.

JBL has been a leader in the industry for decades, standing out not only for their innovative audio solutions but also their talent for fusing style with incredible performance. The JBL E1+ Earphones are no exception.

The lightweight, flat cable is tangle resistant and comes in a brilliant OnePlus red to complement the Sandstone Black back cover. An in-line three button remote, emboldened with the OnePlus logo, includes a microphone and allows for adjusting volume, answering calls, skipping tracks and even taking pictures. Angled no-slip rubber eartubes can be easily swapped for larger or smaller included sizes to maximize comfort and sound. A subtle silver plate sporting the JBL name adorns the opposite side to complete the modern design.

By working with partners as iconic as JBL, we are able to not only expand the OnePlus community but also learn from experts in the industry to make your One even better for you. We are committed to forging more of these partnerships in the future and continuing to grow the OnePlus family.

JBL E1+ Earphones will be available for purchase in October. Please visit oneplus.net to learn more.

  • How about also adding AptX support?

    • aptX is a solution to compensate for audio loss in bluetooth compression. Wired earbuds don’t have such issues to deal with, so quality of sound comes from the quality of the drivers and the housing.

      • I know what AptX is. I’d prefer a better wireless solution to a wired headphone. If the main focus is sound quality, then they should also begin including the best available wireless solution in regards to sound quality.

Already have them, they’re amazing 🙂

is the ‘control’ right in the center? i noticed even some earphones (like the mi pistons), the controls are in the center, making it hard to know which side is left/ right. yes, there’s probably a small marker, but in the dark, its kinda bad. on those earphones that came bundled with my Note 2, the control is on the right side. so i know where the earphones go, without having to look and find the L or R indicator.

  • Mᴀᴎᴓԋӑʁ KY

The sound quality might be good but design looks ugly.
Collaboration of these two companies should came up with much better design, this is simply unattractive.

  • Niels Coene

    Why always in-ear phones??
I’m still waiting for some flashy sennheiser quality over/on ear head phones with the oneplus look!

  • Stadi

Well, the other ones have at least a OnePlus logo on them These look like just repacked to look like designed for OnePlus. Also I would never buy headphones in red. Black, grey or white are allright but not red.

  • Ravi Dubey

Nice video Nice earphones must be really good but a little expensive it seems. When converted to Indian Currency i.e. RUPEES it comes 2400 RS Plus shipping and Taxes If Any comes to rs3000 (considering no shipping option for India).

  • FAROOK

pls sale this jbl earphone along with opo on india launch

  • Papa Gee

Why don’t you guys send me a replacement phone first?? It’s been 3 weeks since I filed an RMA (Ticket #66192) and I’m still stuck with a defective phone. #OnePlus #InsanityWeek

  • Paulo FInix

Do they have any 1+ markings on the Earphones, other than the carrier case?!
The only thing that sets them apart from the JBL E10 is the volume control, and the pricier shipping costs!!!

  • Erick Montero

I just ordered the one plus headphones and now this new pair comes out 🙁

  • Cryssyenddo

I’m still gonna stick with Sennheisser. TQVM for a great product initiative tho.

  • Xavier

  • Teqnix

Nice keep up the great work! 🙂

  • qriusme

For the record, my OPO experience has been great so far. I got an invite, bought the 64gb phone at an amazing price, delivered in 2 weeks, updated to 38R, and excited about the new headphones! I wish everyone’ experience was the same. I’m just putting this out there so people see a more balanced view of the OPO purchase experience.

  • When will the silver bullet earphones be sold again? They were already gone after 1 day and the shipping costs of 10.99€ are just insanely high. It’s almost as much as the earphones themselves.

  • Justin Crowley

    so much for October availability

  • gilles bissot

When ???… there has been a lot of time from the announcement…

  • Kosh

We’re in November and still not available. When are young going to make an announcement and keep the promises?

    Hello all

My Girlfriend recently acquired one OnePlus One and 2 JBL E1+.
She’s facing a problem with both JBL E1+ while on call/hangout/skype.
The microphone sound is barely audible and there’s a lot of static noise. The issue it’s also audible in a recording.
Also, when she plays some music while on a call, I can also ear the music on the other side of the call, like if there’s some lack of insulation in the wiring.
She’s raised a support ticked and we are still waiting for reply.

Can you comment on this? Is this an issue of the OnePlus One or the 2 sets of JBL E1+ earphones?

Coincidentally the JBL’s work normally and perfectly (she only tried one pair after she discovered the issue in the 1+) with an iPad Mini… even while on calls. I found it weird since either these are specially made or they should only work with apple or with others like most apple derived earphones.

      Uma bela merda os JBL.
Comprei, chegaram avariados…

      Fartinho do OPO…

  • Yeah, I’m waiting for 3 weeks for OPO delivery and for 2 weeks for any answear from Customer Support what is going on. http://www.senorama.com

  • Emanuel Genizio

Worst support of ever. This never happened to me in any company.
OPO is not a flagship killer – it is a – TIME KILLER –

Earphones are bad, bad construction and have a lot of problems. I bought and i never used them they make my phone go crazy. DO NOT BUY THIS BAD PEACE OF MATERIAL.

In one night almost fried battery phone. They are continuously messing with volume and oppening aplications. When i wake up phone was super hot with 8% of battery.

    This is idiotic.

Hours making videos to show them the garbage they are selling.

Conclusion 15 days to arrive. And 10 days after making movies. Waiting for technical assitance.

    Shame on you

  • Emanuel Genizio

This are the worst hearphones that i ever had,
Completly new i never been able to use them. 40 Euros for cheap material.
    Let me explain to you:
    1 – Bought them – 2 weeks
    2 -Open a ticket
3 – Sent videos, and videos…. told me that the problem was going to tech…
    (in 8 days nothing)
4 – Today sent me a cheat reset tool, i had to put the phone in fast boot mode, bad instructions and dangerous options for somoene that does know computers…
5 – Done all they said… The phone comed back to kit kat lollllllll
    6 – Then updates star to come…
7 – Hours after the problem is exactly the same…

Tired of bad assistance, bad product, bad solution i bought s SAMSUNG HEARPHONES set:

MY GOD what a huge diference.
Hearphones quality sound is the same or better,
Materials and construction is far, far superior than OPO
NOW people can hear me… 😀
    And volume works fine
    And phone works perfectly.

SO I DO NOT WANT THIS HEARPHONES, hate them and want my money back. And in this case i think that i have a serious problem with OPO.

  • Emanuel Genizio

    they delete posts …. lolll

  • I will never again buy the OPO… so many little bugs, and erros… This was the first and it will be my last. Thanks! http://www.senorama.com

  • I’m having serious battery issues with my one and no reply since a week from the customer care, Have to agree:their customer support is not even average http://www.senorama.com/

  • in many ocasions i solve all my problems… but i gave my time. So thinking in the hours lost with crazy erros of OPO… better thing is to buy expensive but good, with good technicians and quick answers. OPO does not pay for my time and they are using it and abusing of it…. http://www.senorama.com

  • I agree, they need to stop making accessories and start improving the logistics and services. http://www.senorama.com/emploi/offre-demploi-senegal
